IGNITION COIL:        (SECONDARY COIL IN E-BOX)                 5.1 - 6.3 KILO OHMS
                                    Remove spark plug caps and measure
                                    from one spark plug lead to other on
                                    same coil.
 
STATOR:                    LIGHTING COIL                                            0.3 - 0.35 OHMS
                                    measure across yellow and yellow/black
                                    wire.
 
                                    CHARGING COIL                                          230 - 280 OHMS
                                    measure across the green and white wires
                                    going to each e-box (coil).
 
REV COUNTER:        Measure the grey to any white wire               30 - 35 OHMS
 
TRIGGER COILS       (PICK UP COILS)
                                    
                                    OLD STYLE (RED LEAD)                            50 - 70 OHMS
                                    Measure red to any engine ground
 
                                    NEW STYLE (WHITE W/RED OR               140 - 180 OHMS
                                    WHITE W/ BLUE)     
                                    Measure white/red or white blue to
                                    any engine ground
 
Note:  All readings taken at room temperature

Air Gap at Pick Up Coils...........................0.4 -0.5mm (0.016 - 0.02 in)
Cut in Speed...............................................300 rpm
Lighting Output..........................................140 watts AC at 3000 rpm
                                                                    160 watts AC at 6000 rpm
Stator Output (AC Voltage)               idle:                 15-25 volts AC
                                                            6000 rpm          45-70 volts AC
